Oskar Rieding - playing a concerto can be easy!

Together with Ferdinand Küchler, Oskar Rieding is considered the ‘father’ of the easy student violin concertos.

Would You Like to Play the Rieding Concerto with the Orchestra? Why not!

Our founder Bibi Pelić loved playing violin concertos since she was a little girl. She was fascinated by recordings of famous violinists playing concertos with an orchestra. 'It must be a fascinating experience', she thought. Bibi was sad, however, that her chances to play the concertos with an orchestra were close to zero. She vowed one day to make playing with an orchestra available to all violinists.

Many years later Let's Play Concertos! was born.

3 reasons why every music student should play the easy student concertos

Violin students generally take up a concerto with the idea of improving their instrumental technical skills. However, observing students that play the easy concertos I realized that apart from developing their technical skills they get to understand that a music piece is a very organized structure. Melodies have the same number of bars, the first theme is repeated at the end of a movement etc.
