02 Ferdinand Küchler Concertino in D major in the Style of Vivaldi Op.15, II. Siciliano Larghetto

30 second preview

Siciliano is an old baroque dance in a very characteristic six-beat or twelve-beat time. Rhythm is very dotted. As the name tells us, it's origin is in Sicily. Ferdinand Küchler chose well to make it the 2nd movement of his Concertino in D, op.15 'in the style of Vivaldi'.

Performers are Bibi Pelić, violin and the Atlantis Orchestra Prague conducted by Vitêzslav Podrazil.

An arrangement of the Siciliano is available for the Cello, Viola, Flute and Clarinet.
